  2011 08 25 008 crop.jpg - We were all left shocked and speechless when we heard a huge "crack" and looked to see this yacht dismasted ... the whole rigging left dragging in the water. As tragic as it was, it was certainly better to have it happen here where the mast and rigging can be salvaged and repaired rather than way out at sea where it would have had to be cut free and lost to the bottom of the ocean! ... at least here in the harbour it is sheltered, calm, safe and close to land.
